Carmel School Rani was established in 2009 by the Apostolic Carmel Sisters, initially operating from a modest rented room across from the current site. The school relocated to its present premises in 2011. Affiliated with the CBSE Board (Registration No. 230250), Carmel School Rani prepares students for the Class X and XII Board Examinations.

The school boasts excellent infrastructure, including spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a comprehensive library, and a large auditorium used for assemblies and various class activities. It also features a team of qualified teachers and all the facilities necessary for the smooth operation of the institution. English is the medium of instruction from Nursery through Class XII, with Assamese or Hindi required as a second and third language.

In addition to the academic curriculum, the school emphasizes physical fitness through activities such as yoga, dance, karate, and sports, as well as promoting general knowledge and service learning.

Carmel School Rani is committed to providing education without discrimination and strives for academic excellence and holistic development. The school focuses on skill development and character formation grounded in the values of love for God and service to humanity, as exemplified by Jesus Christ. It aims to cultivate well-rounded citizens with a deep commitment to both God and their country.

Guided by the humanitarian ideals of our patroness, the Mother of Carmel, and Venerable Mother Veronica, the school dedicates its efforts to instilling the core values cherished by Carmel.
