Don Bosco School, Sojong, is a distinguished institution situated at the foothills of Sojong, just 1.5 km from Dongkamukam town in West Karbi Anglong, Assam. Established in 1963, it is the oldest Catholic-run school in the Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao regions. Initially known as Christ the King English High School, the school was renamed Don Bosco School.

The Archbishop of Shillong-Gauhati, Rev. H. D’Rozario, sought to have the Apostolic Carmel Sisters manage the school to allow the Salesian priests to focus more on mission work. As a result, the Apostolic Carmel Sisters took over the administration of the parish school, marking a significant shift in its management.

Currently, Don Bosco School operates as a collaborative mission between the Salesian Fathers of the Gauhati Province and the Apostolic Carmel Sisters of the Eastern Province. The school has since expanded to include a Higher Secondary Section offering Arts courses. In 2013, the institute celebrated 50 years of dedicated service and continues to focus on the holistic development of its students.
